Catherin & Jorge are the most genuine people I have ever met. When Catherin reached out, it was learned that there was a tad language barrier, but when we met at Starbucks for a consult & coffee, we just clicked! The language barrier was only a minor issue! They wanted to do a session in their wedding attire at the Monahans Sandhills & Catherin & her bridesmaids after the wedding. I will also be posting some of those!

On their wedding day, they waited to see each other at the alter. I am so glad that they did! Jorge’s face was priceless when he saw his bride walking down the aisle to marry him. San Miguel Catholic Church is one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen. Catherin looked gorgeous in her ling sleeve, lace dress!

Their whole day was so magical, especially their portraits when we went to Grafa Park to take them by the the beautiful willow trees. Talk about jaw dropping location!

(Here’s a little funny story.) So, my assistant & I were ahead of Catherin & Jorge to get the the reception which I was told it was at La Hacienda Event Center. We went into the building & began setting up my lights for the reception. There were a lot of people in there & I thought it was normal because they told me there were a lot of people that were going to the reception that were not at the ceremony, so I didn’t think anything of it when I saw unfamiliar faces. I completely set up, & I was testing my flashes when I took a picture of the cake. When I looked at my camera to check the test, I noticed the cake had a 15 on it!!! I was mortified!! hahaha I literally never have packed up as fast as I did. I was supposed to be next door at the La Hacienda Patio!!! OH my, I was so embarrassed!

Let me just say, Venezuelans know how to party! There was no alcohol, but they danced literally all night! Streamers, smoke machines, silly strings were all involved in the best party I have ever seen! They were so happy, & I couldn’t help but have the biggest smile on my face while watching Catherin & Jorge celebrate their marriage!
